Another project from the LTS Architects back catalogue, the hidden house was a beautifully bespoke residence hidden away in the quiet streets of Knightsbridge. When Lineworks founder Robert Haworth joined LTS in 2014, this was one of his first projects that he worked as Project Architect. It was completed around two years later, and thus began a love affair with all things bespoke and residential. The project is showcased here to demonstrate the level of detail that can be achieved with a great team of joiners, contractor and engineers.

The detail finish of the house really speaks for itself. An engineered plywood rib roof line the whole ceiling of two wings of the house and supports the hole roof. Elsewhere glass beam and a glass floor allow light down to the lower ground floor. Brass is welded to make unique handrail designs.

In the living room a dropped window avoids difficult overlooking conditions to the neighbouring house. The floor is clad with leather tiles which compliment the oak and bronze windows perfectly.
